with a few exceptions, this weekend...pretty much sucked
friday: read (im almost done with my Brentwood summer reading book...i think im avoiding finishing it because, when i do, it'll hit me that im actually going into high school...yikes)
saturday: got up at 6:30, packed, and then went to visit maddie
even though it was really early, it was nice to see her
then my mom and i got on the road to go camping with my dad, brother, and his boyscout troop
i asked my mom where the campsite was, and she said it was near my friend, sarah's, house (the fact that we ended up being 5 minutes away from civilization...killed me)
anyways, to make a long story short, because i really dont feel like typing a lot, i tried to be anti social...but a really annoying, nerdy, chatterbox 11th grade girl who was some one's sister, decided that i was her new best friend, and i spent most of the day hiding in my tent from her.

while i was hiding, i stole my mom's cell phone and called people, but reception there was really bad, so it was hard to have actual conversations
alright, so i decided i was being way too much of a typical "i hate my life" teenager, and that i should probably be a bit friendlier. so i came out of my tent, and sat down with people (careful not to get to close to the 11th-grade-clinger) and then, this was terrible, i mean, really horrible one of my brother's friends from elementary school...started....flirting with me

it was awful...ive known this guy since i was in third grade....ehhh
so without being too harsh, i brushed him off, and returned to my tent...where i spent most of the day, until my dad guilted me into going on a hike, which was actually nice, because the destination had a really great view of the san fernando valley...
ok, skipping right along, dinner was pretty awful, went to bed early and surprisingly, fell asleep quickly
sunday: got up, had some pancakes (its amazing what you can do with a dutch oven), ran away from bees...lots of bees...
left the campsite by 10, got home and changed into pj's, went online, and here i am... i was going to go take a nap, but apparently my brother is having a party, so it doesnt look like thats happening...
if any one wants to rescue me, i would greatly appreciate it
