life is good...
i'd say that this birthday was a successful one, actually one of the best i've had
i havent updated in a while so, i'll sum up the highlights of my recent escapades
last friday i went to the Kodak theater with audrey, maddie, and casey to see this famous tap dancing guy, Savion Glover. he was AMAZING and we had box seats which was pretty cool if you ask me.
afterwards, we walked around the hollywood area and put our hands in the handprints of famous people; i took a picture with my hands in these handprints that had "i'm a bad boy" written above it. then we were watching these break-dancing street performers and they needed another volunteer so, they chose me and literally pulled me out from the crowd
then about 10 other volunteers sat down in a line. we had to touch our toes while this guy flipped over all of us!
we came back to my house and selected costumes for the purim carnival at audrey's temple the next day. me and audrey were 50's girls, casey was a flower, and maddie was a pirate. we had to get up early to help set up the games, but it was really fun.
hokay fast forward to this week
i got sick on tuesday and stayed home, but went in on wednesday for the hip-hop show. by wednesday night my throat was really sore and i sounded like a man. my voice was extremely low and i called myself manly stanly. sophie was talking to zeve and i wanted to see who he thought i was with my manly voice
his guesses: nick, tyler, and conor
i was extremely proud of this.
thursday was my birthday! tracey announced this to the whole school over the loud speaker and i was wished a happy birthday by about 20 random ghetto kids. i got cards from tracey, allison, and flip and a hanky doll and chocolates from casey. cori made me a lovely poster and a balloon. brian gave me this awesome oragami thingy that said "happy birthday eva" inside. audrey, maddie, and alex made me a lovely cake complete with gold fish and stale marshmallow toppings
my mom came to school during lunch and brought 3 pizzas and ice cream cone cupcakes. when i came home i got many good presents and a yummy birthday dinner
so, despite being sick, i had a wonderful birthday. thank you all soooo much for making it so good
