are you over 18?: Yep, the fact I can recall using floppy disks should help prove that.

in character information.

series: Transformers Prime
name: Arcee
sex: Female or Other considering she's a robot but uses female pronouns for herself. (I don't claim to understand how this works and fandom doesn't help either.)
age: 1 million (Officially Unknown because Hasbro does not believe in giving such things to their toys.)
race: Cybertronian
height: 6'
weight: 600 lb. (All that metal man)
canon point: End of season 1 (episode 26)
previous cr: N/A

history: Here
personality:
Arcee is very headstrong and stubborn which means she sometimes clashes and has to be metaphorically dragged kicking and screaming to follow an order if she doesn't agree with it. Though, most times if the order comes from Optimus Prime she'll grit her teeth and do it, or find another way around it without going at the problem head on. She's also a harsh taskmaster in that she doesn't take mess ups well in herself or others. Add the fact she doesn't really censor herself, tends to be blunt when speaking, and acts tough as nails she is far from a being a wilting flower in her mannerism.

This tends to make her come off distant and cold to others, as seen in the first volume of the comic as she criticizes Cliffjumper for his inability to stay out of trouble, and her continuous refusal to let him help her out on her mission into Kaon due to her belief he would mess it all up and wouldn't know how to be subtle and discreet if such things smacked him in the face. It is even more apparent that she does everything to keep others away in her early interactions with Jack, that was made worse by her lack of empathy for the human race; alongside the belief they were complicating an already stacked fight against the Decepticons.)

This doesn't mean she doesn't care about anyone, far from it in fact. Some might say she cares too much if one delves into her history and the intense emotional attachment she has displayed with her partners through out the war. Tailgate having been her first partner (and likely a mentor of sort though this is not confirmed or denied in canon) whose death in front of her own eyes shook her up and left an emotional scar still felt even in the present time. Then when she finally began to accept Cliffjumper as a new partner, she had to go through the entire emotional rollercoaster again of him dying. Which just rattles her even more. It makes one wonder just how much of her more prickly aspects are a result of this, or if it was always how she was.

Despite this she's not a loner or really antisocial when you look at her interactions with the rest of her team on earth. She has no problem joking around or snarking with them, and has a deep respect for them all. She's also a bit overprotective at times, especially with the human Jack (how much is because of her not wanting to lose anyone else or just her nature well /shrugs) and may become a bit controlling in that regard. (As seen when on a scouting mission she attempted to be in command due to Miko having snuck along and thus could be injured if things went bad.) Showing a close camaderie with everyone, though if the friendships run as deep as those she had with Cliffjumper and Tailgate is likely not so.

When on mission or in the middle of a battle Arcee manages to keep her head for the most part, though collected she is not really cool in certain situations *Couch*Airachnid*hackwheeze* that doesn't mean she doesn't think or is any less dangerous then when she is fully focused on what needs to be done.

One of the big things that one has to remember when dealing with Arcee is that she is a soldier, trained and tested as such. So in the face of violence and possible deactivation she doesn't let it get to her. Even making quips in such events from time to time which to someone who isn't used to war may seem odd.

abilities/powers:
--Arcee as a Cybertronian is able to 'transform' into an alternate form, or altmode, that (in a different cartoon series that actually brings up why they can change into vehicles/animals/what have you when they really didn't need to 'hide in plain sight' on their own planet.) was originally used to help protect them from the radiation of unprocessed energon. As raw energon crystals are about as volatile as nitroglycerin and have enough stored up energy to cause craters when just a small amount decides to go boom. On earth this extra mode also serves to hide her from the unknowing masses of humans, in that of a very sleek looking motorcycle.

--As one of the smallest Cybertronians on earth in terms of size, armor thickness, and even firepower Arcee makes up for this by being quick and nimble. With a fighting style that uses her size and speed to overtake and off balance her larger and slower foes, never staying in one place long enough for someone to get a lock on her. She's like a robot ninja.

--Weapon wise she's only displayed a small (For her kind) particle or energy blaster that forms on on her right arm and a pair of blades situated in the wrist area that go to her elbow joint. (If she has more in her arsenal we do not know about it yet as we are still awaiting season two to start.)

--She has a solid grasp of computer hacking skills (As shown in the comic books and again in the cartoon as she tends to be the one sent to hack into the Decepticon computers on their ship the Nemesis.)

--Due to being a motorcycle on planet earth Arcee also has a holgram of a female rider (Helmet and all) that she employs so as not to cause accidents or talk by being a bike without a driver on the open road. (If it’s solid or not is unknown, or if it even moves as so far it’s only ever seen sitting and ‘driving’ the ‘bike’)

--Though it's not stated in canon, it has to be the only explanation for her sudden size shifting abilities. Arcee is also equipped with a subspace pocket. This is basically like a small pocket dimension that stores her excess mass and parts that are not needed when she goes from a twelve (Estimate I can’t find actual measurements anywhere) foot tall robot, to being the size of a typical little sports motorcycle that can be ridden by a human. It is likely also where the parts and such that created her blaster are held as well when not in use.

--Despite being able to withstand the cold and vacuum of space, evidence has shown that frigid temperatures combined with mositure, like say being on the artic tundra, has shown to cause an adverse affect on her systems, shutting them down and locking them. Likely because of the water heating and cooling rapidly, or just icing over in joints and on systems that were not exactly made for earth climates.

--One would think that due to her size and mass that she would be more likely to be a long or midrange combatant. You would be wrong. Arcee specializes in close quarter hand to hand combat.

first person sample:
[There's no picture, but if you listen carefully you can make out the sound of metal moving against metal. As well as metal against concret in the pattern one would expect of footsteps.]

Dark and deserted buildings, unknown location, possibility of hostile forces lying in wait. I'm starting to wonder just who was in charge of this welcome, at least with the cons I know what to shoot.

[There's a sigh, though something about it isn't completely right.]

Right I just have to ask a simple question and everyone can go back to their confusion and panic. If anyone has seen or talked to a Jackson Darby, a Miko Nakadai, or a Rafael Esquivel I'd like to know immediatly. A location of where they may be would be even better, or better yet if you three are listening...Stay. Where. You. Are. I'll come and get you.

[A bit of static is heard as she switches to an Autobot Frequency.]
Talk to me guys, is anyone else here? I haven't detected any Decepticons, but I don't want to get my hopes up on that.

And did anyone notice anything odd about themselves and this place? Or is it just me?

third person sample:
It was like the worst system reboot she had ever had the misfortune of going through as each one of her programs came on painfully and alert. As if she had been shot down and forced into stasis, but her memory files were showing no such incident. The unfamiliar surroundings didn't help at all as her optics and sensors onlined as well. The thought fleeting as she rolled off the medical berth, though it was not like anyone she ever laid on or seen. Made her feel a little more appreciative of them. It also made her realize this was a lot more wrong in ways that made her plating itch.

This was an earth made structure, but the proportions were all wrong. Some of the cons were a bit slow in their processing power, but she was certain they’d take into account size comparison between a Cybertronian and a human. Which ruled out the possibility of this being a Decepticon trap of any sort. Unless they were trying to say something about her frame type, then she had some bot that needed to have a meeting with her blaster. The lack of any radio chatter, or even the static and white noise of an open line in use was discontenting in of itself after so many years of having someone on the other end she could call since being on earth. However, add this place and her not recalling what happened after Prime forgot them to it all. It was alarming.

Pushing the odd ache in her spark, she once more scanned the surroundings from her crouched position in a shadowed corner. So far nothing had happened, and no one had come in to subdue or explain things to her. A bad thing all around, as it meant she was likely dealing with an unpredictable situation.

It was then she finally allowed herself to acknowledge the yellow piece of paper that her sensors had been pinging about a foreign object upon her. An object she had ignored as it was a low priority in threat assessment. The words on it almost making the situation worse as she attempted to figure out and calculate what this was supposed to mean. Though one little comment answered one question, though the answer was not one she was happy to find out.

“Well Scrap.”

She had a feeling it wasn’t going to be an afternoon drive down the interstate to reach Jasper.
