Life is going pretty well thus far. The only problem is that I'm about a week behind on EE 316, but hopefully that'll fix itself magically. That's what happens when you ignore things, right? I like feeling really smart by doing math problems that take a whole page to solve. FasTRAC is going full swing, we've actually put together the ground station, and now I get to start programming it. The project leads are heading out to White Sands, NM (where we'll be launching it from, I think) in two weeks, and there's still some stuff I've got to finish. It's weird to have responsibility. The only problem is that every week is so hectic that I'm tired by the time I watch Monday Night Football... luckily the next game will suck (Packers and Eagles? Come on.)

Engineering EXPO (the UT Engineering career fair, the 2nd largest in the nation) was today and yesterday, and I think I got the folks at Microsoft and Lockheed-Martin pretty excited about me. According to the rep I spoke with, I'd be a good fit for programming some backend infrastructure for XBox Live Arcade, which would mean my dream of working for Microsoft whilst making games would be realized after a mere two years of college. Assuming I get the job, of course.

I'm stoked.
