homecoming weekend was great success:
friday, i worked lunch and then had to take a quiz for hsc106.
saturday morning, amy, aimee, and i went tailgating. it was a fun time just mosying around visiting people. mmm watermelon pucker at 9am. oh, and i got burned on my face. it looked sweet. then, i hit up the football game with dave, mike, adam, leah, and kevin, where cmu proceeded to get creamed by bowling green. ohh well - i predict no skyrocketing attendance for the rest of the football games @ central. division II, here we come.
i worked saturday dinner in the fiesta room, so i only had 3 tables, but got considerably decent tips out of it.
nighttime meant mine and aimee's 1st fraternity party @ phi kappa tau. ("wow!") it was a blast hanging out with andrea, kristi, larry, nicole, etc. they even got me dancing! we definitely met a lot of new people, too. hopefully, we get invited back since larry didn't even say bye at the end of the night. :( we got home at like 4am. sweet times, sweet pictures.
sunday was supposed to be work and homework day, but i splurged and played IM softball. it was fun, except i sucked. so, i worked dinner and waited on crappy customers. it was hilarious because the other servers and myself were all zombie-like because of homecoming the day before...
i felt the repercussions of homecoming weekend and its busy-ness on monday morning when i got up and had 3 hours to shower and write up an entire wellness portfolio for healthy lifestyles. amazingly, i got it done with absolutely no time to spare. then, i skipped anatomy to study for my health and aging test, which i got an 88% on - go me! monday night was recuperation time.
yesterday, i had no class at all, since my community health class only meets at weird times in the semester. at 2, emily and i hit the road (jack) for msu. we went to meridian mall (no purchases were made), then to sara-rose's dorm, then to mike's duplex, and panera bread. after a little tour of the campus, we said bye to mike and us 3 girls went to the nickel creek concert. it was amazing. i love the combination of instruments and their voices are so awesome. david berkley opened for them. he was good. howie day was after nickel creek, but we didn't stay. it's a good thing we didn't cause i may have fell asleep at the wheel coming home.
that leaves me to talk about today. alanna and i made breakfast this morning. yummy stuff. here are my plans for the rest of the day: balance checkbook and do my critique #3 for malonebeach. why? because 2 of my classes were cancelled and i'm skipping anatomy again (we don't do anything anyway, don't yell!).
tomorrow = class @ 5 and da bin with aimee afterwards. friday, i'm heading home for my cousin's wedding. kevin's going to be my date! we're gonna look hott and get shitty.
do you ever get that feeling where you want to peel the top layer off your face because it feels crusty and just gross? that's how i feel now. i don't know what that means.
