[So it took Finas some time, and a lot of exploring, to finally find the recreational center of this damn town. He was pleased to find a weight room and a gym, because he needed to work out badly not only did it leave him calm, but it kept him in shape, which was essential when the failpire had far too many friends, whom he probably cried to by now ( Read more... )

[Cas was just leaving a nearby shop after buying a couple things, when he saw Finas exit the recreational center across the street. They had a funny way of running into each other, didn't they? Or at least, being in the same vicinity at the same time. He called out to him to wait and made his way over.]

[It did happen more often than not, didn't it? At hearing his voice he stopped, turning to look for him. Ah, there he is, and he'll wait patiently for the other man to catch up.]

Casimiro.

[Nodding his head in greeting.]

Hey, you found it. [Said while looking up at the gym, then back to Finas. And he flashed a grin, looking quite content. Ever since their encounter with Conrad, he'd been feeling a lot less irritable.]

You hungry?

Yes, I prefer the gyms at home, but it will do.

[Looks like someone was in a good mood, he was glad Cas seemed to be in better spirits after the Conrad incident. Finas was just waiting for the consequences of what they done, the rallying of Mr. Achenleck's pathetic little friends.]

Starved.

[Meanwhile Cas, lacking any foresight, was unconcerned with the consequences. Even after receiving a death-threat not too long ago from Zevran. He threw his arm around Fin's shoulder, still carrying a bag from the store he had just visited in the other hand.]

Good, let's go eat. I got somethin' for you.

[The content of which was probably obviously.]

[Slight sigh, but if a day went by where Cas didn't invade his personal space he'd get pretty damn worried. He eyed the bag, knowing full well what was in there, nodding.]

I look forward to seeing it.

[Now... where to eat.]

What are you in the mood for?

I'm not picky. There's a little bistro up the street, let's go there.

[Really, he was just excited to show Finas what he'd bought. Since he spent the entire fucking day looking for a good one. You're welcome, Fin.]

Your hair's a little damp, was there a pool? [Asked as he plucked at the ends of the other's hair.]

That will do.

[And off to the bistro they go! Rather curious about it himself, and he would never expect Cas to go to so much trouble. Tempted to swat his hand away, but he was too tired.]

Yes, I did some laps after some exercises and weight training. I also took a quick shower before leaving.

Ah, that explains it.

[Eventually they arrive at their destination, and are seated rather quickly. In his anticipation, Cas rummages around before pulling out the box containing a cool-gray cashmere scarf. And pushing it in front of Finas.]

This place doesn't have a great selection, but I liked this one.

[He gave a light groan as he took his seat, it was an intense workout and he was sore everywhere. But he perked up at the scarf, picking it up with care. He looked it over carefully, enjoying the feel of it. Ah, cashmere... And look, Cas, he's actually smiling. He looked forward to wearing it when they left.]

Cas... thank you, it's lovely.

[Never mind that he had been quite picky about which one to buy, he brushed it off like it was hardly a big decision at all. But at Finas' reaction to it, he couldn't help himself, grinning with satisfaction.]

Heh... yeah. Glad you like it.

I do. I appreciate it, it's a good choice.

[And he'll just fold it neatly, putting it aside for later. His smiles never lasted very long, but he was still quite content. Looking over his menu, making a mental note of what he wanted before pushing it away with a small sigh.]

[The fact that Finas' smiles were brief just made it all the more satisfying when they were given. Cas looked over the menu and placed his order curtly when the waiter came by.]

Sore from the workout?

[Nodding, rubbing at his head with an irritated sigh. Something was bothering him.]

...I don't believe Mr. Achenleck took us seriously.

[God he had a headache.]

I ran into his mentally handicapped woman at the pool.

[He leaned forward upon hearing this, looking a mixture of surprised and extremely curious.]

What? After all that he still sent his bitch after us? Damn, makes you wonder what will get through to that kid. So what happened?

Apparently he played the 'poor innocent victim' card. She believes we did what we did just to be violent, for no reason.

[He's quiet for a moment.]

I will deal with it my way. ...He has made a dangerous enemy.

[There is a dangerous quality to his voice, and a hardness in his eyes that was also rare. He usually let Cas go wild when needed, but not this time.]
