Cure Warefare Round 1 Results and the Commencement of Round 1.5!

Firstly, I would like to apologise for the slight delay. I was called in to act as sound recordist on a 16mm short drama and it basically ate up every waking moment I had for the last week. But, now that is all over I can now announce the winners of the first wave of Round 1.

The first fight saw Suite Precure's Cure Melody face off against the evil Dark Mint. With a whopping 95.5% of the votes, Cure Melody moves on to the next round.

The second fight saw two dark counterparts duel for victory, Bad End Sunny and Dark Lemonade. Taking the victory with 61.1% of the votes is Bad End Sunny, moving her to the next round.

Another evil Cure with fire based powers, Dark Rogue, went up again Cure Peach and got analiated. Cure Peach recieved 85% of the votes, granting her a place in the next round.

One of the closest battles of this wave was between DokiDoki's Cure Ace and Go! Princess's Cure Mermaid. With the winner changing back and forth, Cure Ace eventually claimed victory with 57.1% and enters the next round.

Another member from Go! Princess, Cure Flora, faced off against the mild mannered Cure Pine from Fresh Precure. With an tearaway result of 95%, Cure Flora wiped out her competition and proceeds to the next round.

'The weakest Precure in history', Cure Blossom, found herself up against Bad End Peace. With a result of 75%, Cure Blossom can no longer be called 'the weakest Precure in history' and enters the next round.

Two Cures that are faires went head to head, Precure 5 GoGo!'s Milky Rose and Kira Kira Precure's Cure Parfait. Milky Rose proved it helps to be the original, with a score of 66.7% she moves onto the next round.

Two heroines that fight until the end, Happinesscharge's Cure Tender and DokiDoki's Cure Sword fought to prove who had the stronger heart. Cure Sword sliced her way to victory with a total of 66.7% and will be ready for the next round.

The only battle this round to feature two Cures from the same team, Suite Precure's Cure Muse and Cure Beat battled it out. Matching Cure Sword with 66.7%, Cure Beat literally lives up to her name and beat out her competition to the next round.

Another extremely close battle was the battle of the lead Cures, DokiDoki's Cure Heart and Happinesscharge's Cure Lovely. With the lead changing with ever other vote, Cure Heart just took the victory with 52.6% of the votes and moves on to the next round.

Cure Bloom from Splash Star faced off against the Princess of the Stars, Cure Twinkle. Without much difficulty, Cure Twinkle has shined her way to victory with 76.2% of the votes and moves on to the next round.

Both wear green, one is good, one is bad, Mahou's Cure Felice and Bad End March dueled for victory. Using pure magic, Cure Felice gained 75% of the votes and assends to the next round.

When both Cure's have no real offensive powers, it is going to be interesting. Max Heart's Shiny Luminous had the defense, Kira Kira's Cure Custard the speed. Speed won out and with 61.9% of the votes, Cure Custard enters the next round.

A loud Precure vs a quiet Precure, Heartcatch's Cure Marine faced off with Yes Precure 5 GoGo!'s Cure Mint. Washing out her competition, Cure Marine holds 72.2% of the votes and splashes into the next round.

Finally, the leader of the first evil team of Precure, Dark Dream, aimed to terrorise the cry baby Cure from Smile, Cure Peace. However, Cure Peace dug deep and earned 61.1% of the votes and makes it to the next round.

With the first half completes, now you will find below two cuts. One is a reminder on the rules, the second is where you can place your votes for the second wave of round one. Please remember when voting, this is not a popularity contest. This is for the strongest Precure to fight her way to victory. Keep in mind what attacks she can perform, her abilities and attributes she takes into battle when voting for a winner. Have fun and get voting!

As stated this is not a contest to see who is your favourite Cure. Instead, you must consider the powers, fighting skills, agility, speed and endurance of the Cures in each round, then decide which will win in a face-to-face fight.

This mean that EVERY Precure is limited to powers, attacks and abilities they can only use when alone. Some example;

Cure Black, Cure White, Cure Bloom and Cure Egret would have not magical attacks as they always require their respective partners to use them, but they would still have any strength, speed or defensive powers at their disposal.
Cure Bloom and Egret will not be able to become Cure Bright and Windy without each other.
The Yes Precure 5 Cures would be able to call upon their Fleurs to give them a weapon, but without their collective powers cannot access the magic behind them.
The Fresh Precures would not have access to their powerful group attack.
The Heartcatch Precures can all perform their individual attacks, but will not have access to their super silhouette forms and its powerful attack.
The Suite Precure would not have access to any of their combo attacks. Melody and Rhythm would have access to some of their attacks but not all as one requires their combined forces and another them trading their weapons.
The Smile Precures would have access to their Princess forms as they can transform without being together, as shown when Cure Happy transformed alone, but the group attacks would not be available. They all would also have the ability to access their pure powers with their amplified attacks.
The DokiDoki Precures would all have access to their weapons and individual attacks, but not their group attacks. Cure Heart would not be able to access Parthenon Mode without the other members of her team.
The Happinesscharge Precures would all have access to their form changes, including their Innocent Forms. Cure Lovely would not be able to transform into They would not be able to perform any group attacks.
The Mahou Precure would not have access to their various forms due to needing to be together to access them
The Kira Kira Precure would not have the ability to turn into their more powerful forms without each other.

The Tournament will consist of a total of 62 participating Cures. While I would want to feature them all, it does hinder the rounds from working properly during the tournament. Every main team Cure is included in the list, but to reach the magic 62 the following extra Cures are included; Dark Precure 5, Dark Precure, Bad End Precure and Cure Tender. These Cure all had a good showcase of powers and abilities during their short tenure, and for fairness no ‘movie only’ Cures have been included in the contest.
