Transfromation review
This is SPC ep 19 review.
Comparing to last ep, this ep is much better, as a main storyline ep. It is intense and exciting. The idea of this ep is very familiar for those who start watching Precure from the 1st series. In 1st series up to Ss, their weakness of dual henshin didn't solve (i.e. The enemy still have the chance to trick them using the same strategy). I hope that this can be solved in this series. According to Siren and Dodori, the reason they can transform is their harmony. It is not just because of their presence. If Toei want to solve the problem of dual transformation, they should make a ep that Spc can keep their harmony even they are apart. Doesn't it become individual transformation? Kind of, but it is different from just transforming alone. It requires their "telephathy", linking their heart together. I don't know if you can understand, but thinking of Cure Beat (assuming that she can transform alone), Toei should think about this problem. In FPC and HCPC, they can transform alone in the first place, so they don't have such problem as SPC.
This ep also tells us that Siren's strategy is going to be useless. (well, using the same idea for too many times...even though it is her only ability). Next ep title is her last strategy, and the ep after that is cure beat appearance...the trend is similar to passion, but I think her treatment is different from passion. Her betray plot had been set earlier than Eas, and she had been once persuaded in ep 14. In addition, she is originally Major land singer. Hence, for next 2 ep, I assume that:
A. Her brainwash should be released, (it is definite) but by the time she releases, she is nearly died (if they want to go for passion route)
B. If A occurs, Aphrodite may revive her as Ellen only, i.e. She cannot change to Siren, so that Toei still can get this idea through-Precure is transformed by a normal girl.
C. If they don't go for passion route, Cure beat will be a new character rather than Siren. It depends on whether Toei would continue making her as a villain.
If her civilian name is true(kuroxxx), the last cure cilivian name should be starting with white. Why? If we consider north (hibiki) and south (kanade) are oppsite for magnet, we will find that their name are formed by completely opposite elements. That means Hammy is the last cure? No, we still have Muse, but her civilian name may start with white if cure beat is black.
Let's come back and talk about storyline. Besides Siren's strategy mentioned above, it also describes that SPC is growing up, including dealing with enemy's strategy and their strong harmony.
Cure Muse appearance is excellent here. As a helper in Precure series, she is well done. Luminous is too weak, Moonlight and Zetsubou are way too strong...how about Milky Rose? Pc5 and her set up, and the series' flow makes her not too strong..but not as good as Muse. Muse is strong, but she can't purify Negatone. She can only use her piano attack(there is no name for her attack, so...) to defend from enemy and protect others (like what she had done in this ep). Due to her neutral position, she won't save SPC, but she won't let minor member to harm others. Two third of the ep is fighting, owing to Cure Muse and SPC performance, it is one of the best in SPC series.
Minor Trio don't really work in this fight(they rest owing to last ep?), but their interaction with Hammy is quite interesting.
Hibiki story
1. Siren's strategy-same as previous eps, disguising the person who is close to SPC, even SPC knows her disguise, she sucessfully traps SPC inside Negatone.
2. SPC's wise-In this ep, they are wise that they pay attention to Siren's pendant, in order to break Siren's strategy. However, they don't know she already called Negatone, so they still fall into her trap.
3. Transformation condition-in this series, they have to keep their harmony (usually by the phrase "we can't forgive you!") when transform. Siren separate them for breaking their harmony.
4. Cure Muse- She appears for protecting people in the school. Her attack can create a barrier to reflect the unfortunate melody.
