Wow
Well, it's been over a month since I last updated. Work and classes have been hectic. The "honeymoon" period is over in my classroom and now we're seeing the real them. Sometimes its amusing, other times its frustrating. Plus, people are gossipy at work. Not teachers, but Assistants. Last week a teacher asked me why I was feeding three students when two other assistants were supposed to be in there. That teacher told the department head who asked me what was going on. That got interpreted by some gossiper that I ratted out a lazy coworker. She confronted me Friday (which was a day I was extremely nausaeus and had a major headache). She felt the email the department head sent out reminding everyone to do their job was degrading. Guilt does that I suppose. Anyway, I basic told her I had no problem with her and no, I did not go out of my way to say anything. I was asked by another teacher. She explained she was worried about other backstabbers and she liked to talk to person directly blah blah. We were cool then. However, I found out she ran her mouth about what I supposedly did to like 5 people that morning BEFORE she came in my room and confronted me in front of my teacher. Not that I care- it makes HER look bad. I didn't do anything but answer to my superior. Besides, again, if she was doing her job, it wouldn't be a big deal. And to make matters worse, the whole time she was going from room to room running her mouth, she was supposed to be feeding and assisting students. CASE IN POINT.
Other than that, things are going well. Didn't have many trick or treaters tonight. Our neighborhood gets REALLY DARK and we're in baptistville where many people are pissed to celebrate satan on God's day. You know how that goes. Umm...hmm.. getting a provisional licensure in special education hopefully to teach it next year. I love it. I think I've found my calling!! And, finished all my Xmas shopping. Go me. Love yall! And even though I haven't updated, I read daily!! Hope you get that job Disco! And hope you don't have evil worthless co-workers like I do Rach. The difference between us and most of our co-workers is we want to be there, we want the experience, and we want to move up. They're worthless individuals. Well, at least many of mine are. Not all, but some!!
And MAN I LOVE THE HALLOWEEN MOVIE MARATHON ON STARZ! I FINALLY GET TO SEE FREDDY V. JASON!!
