There was a student's strike in Berlin today, so some friends and I buggered off and went. We only stayed a while, though, cuz we wanted to watch a movie in the sony centre. We ended up seeing Burn after Reading. It was quite boring, actually, but rather amusing in a morbid kind of way at the same time. After hanging out for awhile, I left for my drama class. We're currently developing our own play and it's great fun. I spent all my tube journeys reading Keep the Aspidistra Flying by George Orwell. Talking about reading, I would like to come back to my English presentation. I ACED IT !?!?!?!?
I can not believe that I actually managed to pull it off, seeing as I'd forgotten all my notes at home. Also, I must admit had a hilarious experience after class. A bloke took my half full bottle of squash, asking whether he could finish it. I, of course, replied that, no, he could not, whereupon he ran away with it. I had previously borrowed a screwdriver from the caretaker to represent an ice pick, which is used for
lobotomy. Seeing this dude escaping with my precious drink, I went charging after him, my screwdriver held proudly aloft, whilst shouting at the top of my lungs "IF YOU DON'T GIVE ME MY BOTTLE BACK RIGHT AWAY, I SHALL PROCEED TO LOBOTOMIZE YOU!!!" .
This, of course, promoted him to give this infamous drink back to it's owner straight away.
A proper ice pick...
