(to the tune of "A girl worth fighting for" from Mulan. yes, am sad)
well, it seems oddly quiet on my flist.
One can only hope that is because everyone stayed at the protest until it was all over and then went home and straight to bed. Or stayed out partying, I suppose.
Anyway, I was there. I took Tram and hannah to their first protest, ^_^; Tram wanted more blood. So did teish actually, he wanted Young Libs to abuse. Alas, there were none. Unless they were marching? People seem to believe that some on the march would have to have voted for the man. I don't know about that.
Anyway, it was a great protest, of course, and it was great to see all the PHSC people there. Great to see them and great to see them there.
and I got tshirts. Fantastic. I managed to get hold of one of the orange "your rights at work - worth fighting for" ones and i got a CPSU "unions are the new black". Tres cool.
i also got accosted by a Spartacist. I may have gotten away but Brendan was all "HANNAH! RUN! RUN WHILE YOU STILL CAN!" so then I felt guilty. never mind.
and after all that activity I went home, via work to pick up my still-soaked clothes from the night before, came home and fell into bed. And now it's off to work for what is possibly my last shift.
later all
