Last night I fell in love with Emily Saliers

The night before it was Julia Gillard but I got over that one pretty quickly.

*sigh* why this penchant for unavailable, older women?

So, excuse me while I listen to the Indigo Girls' latest album FOR THE THIRD TIME IN A ROW.
i'll get sick of it eventually, I'm sure.
*looks unconvinced*

so today i looked after lilah and oskar who are awesomely cute. Lilah likes to de-construct everything. She's 1.5.
So we played 'Hannah builds a tower and Lilah knocks it down'. There were minor variations, but that was pretty much it for the day.
Also they had a video of Sesame Street Karaoke and they played "I've Got A New Way To Walk"!! How awesome is that?
(woody reckons that two exclamation marks mean you're only a little bit insane.)

before that i did some more schoolwork. Playing favourite student so that when I write my module evaluation forms she doesn't take TOO much offence to me slagging off every single part of the course. Hannah doesn't find it relevant. Actually this module isn't so bad. I have to write 4 stories. Awesome.

After kidsitting I rode to Kew. Nobody was home so I climbed the fence and went for a swim. Then we went out for dinner. We were all a little bit grouchy so it wasn't the best night I've had. Then we all went back to Kew and every one else went to bed. So I was all (tom already knows this) "FINE. I'll just GO ON MSN THEN." and play music loud while i'm at it.

*sings* I HEARD THAT YOU WERE DRUNK AND MEAN
DOWN AT THE DAIRY QUEEN
...
I TAKE IT IN STRIDE.
I KNOW I HAD MINE,
IT WAS GOOD FOR A TIME,
I AM TOLD.

Dairy Queen by Indigo Girls
apologies for my shocking voice.
