(no subject)
Ok, I just got back from my first bartending job. These people are such drunks… this was what the total was for my 4 hours there. They brought their own liquor and I just served it.
2 double size bottles of champagne and 2 regular size= 6 bottles= completely gone
3 bottles of red wine=1/2 of one left
2 bottles of Pinto (white wine) =GONE FAST
24 bottles of corona=gone
24 of bud light=about 12 left
48 bottles of bud= about 30 left (one 24 pack was never opened)
Lots more white wine but wasn’t used
AND a handle of Seagram’s 7 (whiskey) almost completely gone… MAYBE about 9 oz left
Now… all that in 4 hours wouldn’t usually be that big of a deal for a large party…. But it was a 4 YEAR OLDS BIRTHDAY!!! >:-O ALL of that was drank in 4 hours by about 30-40 adults who were driving their babies home… the OLDEST kid was 8 and there were about 15 kids there… including a 3 month old
THEN she tried to not pay me!!! And there were major issues cuz this skinny little lady, about a little bigger then Al, drank an entire double bottle of champagne herself, then some wine and a shot of 7!! Her husband slipped me the money tho… but still! Its aggravating…. And the DJ had to sneak me food cuz she wasn’t gonna let me eat, after her husband offered me whatever I wanted.
Normally I would say that $50 for 4 hours and a $15 tip was worth it… but I’m not so sure this time. :-/
Oh, and they were still drinking and arguing over wanting to stay later when I left...
