First: thanks for all of the music recommendations and positive comments for my little brother. I sent him some cds today, and plan to send out another batch in the next few days.
Second: my birthday is on Wednesday. Although the numbers tell me I should still be young, I feel like an old old lady. I never make too big a deal about the whole birthday thing, and I also have the pleasure of working both my jobs that day, so for the most part I plan to count my grey hair and move on with life.
However, I will be having cocktails with my roommates and anyone else who wishes to attend at Babs Underground Lounge, starting at 10 o'clock in the evening. I have never been there myself, but am told it is a nice place and that there will be some good chilled out music playing. The address is 213 S. Ashley, and is slightly secluded in the lower level of an office building. You're on your own from there.
I would love to see anyone in the area, and feel free to bring any other people who would like to hang out.
All further celebrations will take place over festival weekend, so if I don't see you Wednesday be prepared to party then because I'm not fucking around...seriously.
