Unsure

So I've been thinking, maybe I've outgrown this whole blogging thing. Of course stuff still happens and I automatically think good blogging material but I don't know. It's been hard to get the energy to sit and type things down.

While I've been seriously contemplating whether to discontinue my LJ altogether, I just can't get let go of all the pretty icons! Not that I Photoshop still but, you know, if I stop blogging I think I would stop Photoshopping too, and updating my icons (which I never get to use anyway).

If ever this is my last entry, I'd like to say goodbye to you, my flist. Bbye, flist! 90% of you I know personally so hehe, I'm just making drama. :D But to those who do not breathe the same polluted Manila/Philippine air that I do, this could be good bye. You've been great LJ friends. :-) While Multiply offers more readership, I've always been more comfortable blogging here. I know majority of my entries always border on mundane/insane ramblings, there were still some pretty deep stuff and, you know, feelings. Hugs, LJ.

Anyway, since I'm already here, might as well jot down some important stuff that's happened since I last updated (or maybe before that):

  • A good-slash-creepy case of mistaken identity took me by utmost surprise, and just before Valentine's too. But that quickly fizzled into nothingness. He remains in my phonebook, though, so I'd know to avoid him if ever he pops up again. Some guys just remain weird and immature no matter how old they get, wouldn't you agree?
  • Franzel finally graduated from college! We're all very proud of her. :-) It was another important occasion our mom missed - that was a bummer - but still, graduating is graduating. She's in a dorm somewhere near SM Manila reviewing for the board exams. She was a bit disappointed not getting an award during graduation so she promised us she'd try and top the exam. But you know, I understand now why our parents never really bothered with the awards and stuff. I know she's trying her best and she's responsible and studying real hard, and that's enough.
  • Mom sent me a new laptop! It's all black on the inside and quite lovely. Toshiba again but running on Vista now. I'm still not used to it. I'm pretending it's a Mac. Haha.
  • Router broke down the same day the new laptop arrived. I'm holding out buying a new one. Holding out for what exactly, I don't know. I did have to pay the Customs fee for the laptop, you know. It was not cheap (but actually a little cheaper than the first time).
  • Went to the mountains of Benguet for a medical mission. Sprained my ankle on the 2nd day but still managed to hike 5 hours more on it. (Granted, a couple of the boys had to drag me all over the mountain.) It's been over 3 weeks and it still hurts. Belle thinks they won't allow me to join next time.Good job, Prec! Real nice. Mom told me to find my life's purpose somewhere else - specifically somewhere cemented.
  • Annual performance appraisal's over with, finally. Someone in HR messed up my file real good and did not note my promotion last year so I got promoted to the same level again this year. Good job, HR! Anyway, I got over the hit to my ego and just focused on the most important thing of all - the money. :D It's not like I'm doing anything different with or without the promotion.
  • I'm still with Safeway, yes. Celebrating my 4th year in a couple of weeks, too. Nicely done, recession.
  • Chuck season 2 is over, waiting on news if it gets picked up for season 3. I'm praying over it.
  • Grey's Anatomy is breaking my heart. I was crying all over my keyboard and it wasn't even 7am yet.
  • If Kris Allen gets into American Idol's Top 2 this season, I'm voting for him (we are on VOIP at work after all). I know I blogged about Adam before but he's being too shrieky lately. Besides, have you seen Kris?
  • Yes, TV is my life now. By saying that, I've just admitted that: 1) I have no shame; 2) I don't actually have a life. What do they mean by life, anyway? Define life.
There's still that David Cook/Archuleta concert coming up this weekend, though. Maybe I'll blog about that if I don't get too exhausted (or lazy, whatever). There will definitely be pictures over at my Multiply if I manage to sneak Lei in. We're both very excited about it. :-) I'm thinking of bringing the tripod but that could be too obvious. (And difficult to get past the security!) Right now I'm immersing myself in David Archuleta's songs so I won't look stupid just standing there when he comes on. (But , really, there's only so much Pop music I could take. O_O)

Kay, I think that's it. I know I have a total of one (1) fan of my blog out there. I'll just e-mail you hehe.
