Honestly this week's contest was a bit of a dud. There were only two entries this last time, and though both crapjournal and boringryan made fine entries, two entries hardly a contest makes. So: neither wins and neither loses. Each of you two, comment with a theme and I'll do you a custom comic on that theme (subject to negotiation possibly). Thanks both of you for entering.

Now, looking to the future, I have to retool this weekly contest idea. Maybe it's biweekly now. Maybe it's only when a really good idea strikes me. Maybe it's back on Friday because this idea was just a dud or it was President's Day weekend or everyone was hoping to name more outlandish characters. It's a long night of the soul ahead for the contests.
