Ok, so I think the last time I updated this thing was for the 2005 recap where you put the first line of the entry of each month in.  2006 is probably going to pretty bleak and NOT because nothing is happening....quite the opposite in fact.  I really haven't even thought about livejournal this year.  So quick recap of 2006 so far.  I spent the New Years and the first 2 weeks in FL with Chris spending some GOOD time together.  Then, came back and went to work.  Had  a bridal shower put one by Chris's aunt and cousins and then went back to FL for V-Day for a week. And then, pretty much went back to work again.  So those are the basics.  If you want details you can definitely ask.  Wedding plans are coming along swimmingly.  Responses to the invites are flowing back nicely and Chris and I are giddy with excitement....in fact, I don't think I have seen him this excited EVER in the last 6 years of my knowing him.  So...I guess that is a good thing. ;-)

Upcoming, my roommates and bridesmaids are throwing me a shower here in Athens at Mi Casa Lame (our apartment).  I am going to church and lunch with Kelly Taft whom I love and adore.  My mom is nearly done with "the dress" and is working diligently also on the other dresses.  AND I am quitting work right before my best best friend comes down for a week!!!  Which means we can REALLY get all the details worked out and settled.  AND in 34 days I will no longer be known as Samantha Valentino!!!!! (well at least socially....it takes a bit longer to make it legal)

And yes   !!!!!!!!  means that I am SUPER excited as well.  But I bet you couldn't tell that.
