I'm reposting this since my layout is funky and stretching the original fic posting all out due to a very long thread in the comments. *blushes but loves on cynicalpirate*

Though I didn't set out to do it, this is indeed the story of my Minerva and xellas's Tom.

Wow. This was really great to read. Your characterization was excellent. I love McGonagall being brazen rather than a stern, prudish killjoy. And that ending was just brilliant.

Oh thank you! I'm thrilled you like it, particularly Minerva. I do love her and the dynamic with Tom is always so fun to explore. And yes, I'm completely in support of sex kitten!Minerva. Particularly with Tom or Sirius. *grins*

That was a great story. There was just enough uneasiness at the end.

Thanks for reading! I'm glad you liked it.

Sorry for the delay in thanking you. My students are feasting on my brain in most unpleasant ways. *stares blankly at wall*

Damn, that was wonderful! And I'm normally avoiding het... But this is the strongest Minerva I've ever seen in fanfic, so self-confident and liberated and knowing what she wants, and not at all intimidated by Tom but actually the one who initiates proceedings... That was the one thing that left me gobsmacked, and the other was how wonderfully well the sex was written, and was working to deepen the characterisation. Loved Tom, too, very seductive and *almost* shocked at her initiative, and the way it ties in with the present at the end.

And the little tense digs at Dumbledore were amazing. No, this sure was no supporting-role Minerva at all, and I adored her. And the whole fic!

Oh thank you! It's from Tom/Minerva art that I commissioned from leelastarsky. If you poke back through her journal, you'll find the full image and get a good look at exactly how I see Tom and Minerva!

Wow... that sort of comment just makes my week!

I admit that I'm primarily a slash writer but Tom/Minerva hits my kinks like no other, and honestly to have this work for you even if het's not your thing makes me thrilled.

But God, I'm not sure I'm deserving of such praise about my Minerva but I'm smart enough to gleefully accept it! *grins then gleefully snogs you*

And Miss McGonagall thought she was the wicked one!
My only wish is for a bit more of them in bed together, but since this is crying out for a sequel *coughhintcough*...

Only time would tell, I suppose. *winks*

Oh yes, but these two refused to expose any more of that first encounter to me. Bloody stubborn characters.

*grins at the ever so subtle hints*
I shall see about a sequal. All of my Tom/Minerva fics are the same 'universe' (save the evil!Minerva series I wrote) so perhaps one of those may occupy you until the muse strike again?
