I nearly fainted after having my ears pierced. Felt rather embarassed about that...

I got my ears pierced twice. It hurt like hell but no threat of fainting, which is why this surprised me so much. I think our bodies just like to play mean tricks on us sometimes.

I do the delayed passing out only when I give blood. OH and I am newly pierced as well and the piercing makes me giddy. Yes, the actual act of being pierced makes me HAPPY! *cuddles* just cause i can.

funny, i got my ears pierced last semester and it didn't hurt at all. then again, belly buttons are quite a different matter, i suppose. delayed don't-touch-the-belly! shock or something ;P

And I keep getting mixed views about tipping your piercer. General consensus seems to be you only tip tattoo artists, because they're actually taking their time to draw and perfect a tattoo, whereas piercers just stick a needle through you and you're done. Now I feel as if I've committed a huge faux pas.

*nods* Yeah. Well, he was a real kick and I'm bloody glad I did tip him. He's the one who caught me when I passed out. Otherwise I would have hit my head.

And, nah. I don't think most people tip their piercer. *is an odd duck*
