Man Oh Man. Paul and I went through Birmingham after school to get a bus application and you really don't realize what you have until it's gone. The space to breathe, trees, grass, people! I saw Emely and Bianca and I was spazing like I haven't seen them in years even though I saw them over the summer tons. We walked to Del Taco and we saw Felicia, Fernando and their friend Megan. It was great to see them, we caught up and reminisced. They mentioned how BHS has a whole new crew of "uber punks" and how last year they were all "YEAH, GOOD CHARLOTTE!" Felicia mentioned how our freshman year there were only two punks at Birmingham, JJ and I. But there was a huge difference as to the way we were, JJ and I rocked it we sowed up our outfits because we were low budget but we rocked it, just rocked the hair, the clothes, the music. We were into the good stuff X, The Adverts, Vice Squad, X-Ray Spex, The Partisans, Anti-Nowhere League all that good stuff. All these new kids they have no fucking idea, they don't appreciate the fucking rich history in the LA punk scene, The Weirdos, Fear, the Screamers, Nervous Gender, China White, X, The Avengers, Circle Jerks. They're just plain and simple punkcore punks, it's sad what the new generation is going to be, it just saddens me.
