update
well, livejournal informs me that it has been 74 weeks since my last post. i guess i'm over livejournal. anyway:
i just got back from maschinenfest 2008 in Krefeld Germany. I am kicking myself for always finding a reason I couldn't go in previous years. I was a little worried that I wouldn't like a lot of the bands as some of their recordings are sub-par in my opinion. Boy, was I wrong. There was not one disappointment in the whole festival. Well, the one disappointment was that I sprained my ankle Saturday night during Sonar. But, after elevating it all night I was ready to go back on Sunday where I danced for 6 straight hours.
i should have gone to the hospital in germany but i was pretty sure it wasn't broken. by the time i got back to sf my foot had swollen to about twice its normal size. now I wasn't so sure. but, as luck would have it, it turned out to be sprained. so, i'm going to hobble around for a few weeks but it should be fine.
