..update
So most of the music of my youth is on cassette so I probably haven't listened to most of it since college (~1990). Lately, I have been feeling a bit nostalgic and have started buying back stuff on CD. Mostly metal (judas priest, dio, ...) but I just got some oingo boingo. You have to understand, in high school I liked two bands, oingo boingo and the cult. I constantly was listening to one of those two bands. Its amazing how fresh oingo still sounds after all this time. The early stuff, pre Elfman soundtrack work, is awesome. The other interesting thing is how I still know all of the lyrics even though I haven't heard some of this stuff in 15-16 years. The mind sure is amazing.
on another note, my new gig at Dolby is working out fine. I actually enjoy going to work again. lisa and i are still scheduled to be married next summer (or spring if it gets too expensive). I think I've only gone out 2-3 times so far this year. I need to stop that. school (at sjsu) is taking up a fair amount of time but that is over in like 3 weeks so i'll have no excuses. I should be at armageddon dildoes on thursday.
