so i had to get wet yesterday. the kid was struggling and bobbing up and down and not going anywhere and i watched him for a good 20 sec. he was getting air but clearly in distress. so i blow my whistle 3 times and jump in and swim toward him. well he hears the 3 whistles and knows that means he has to get out....AND HE STARTS SWIMMING AWAY FROM ME! never had one swim away from me before... he was fine, he was "playing." well he got a stern lecture about pretending to drown and not doing it anymore
i swear if my name is on one more incident report form this summer....
so the man from the other day's funeral is tonight. i'm debating about going to it or the visitation. i don't want to torture myself but i fell somehow involved. i don't know if any other y employees are going, my boss said she wasn't, so i don't know...would i gain anything out of going?
it's raining now and the pool is closed so i don't have to go to work....which also means i'm losing money....
i was supposed to go kayaking tomorrow with a friend's camp group but i don't know now with the rain....and it wouldn't be till like 2:30 which is really late...
maybe i'll just do clingman's dome instead...
