I awoke this morning at around 3:30am to witness one of the wickedest thunderstorms in a while. It only lasted about 20 minutes but it was freaking nuts. After the power went out for less than one second I went and unplugged everything in the livingroom. I could hear and SEE the storm from the bathroom... hear it with the loud bathroom fan and see it without windows. I can't explain that part, but I saw flashes in there, I swear. I considered pulling an Aurora and listening to Midnight Syndicate while watching the storm, but I figured I'd get creeped out too much. When loud noises wake me up in the middle of the night I feel like a little kid again because I get terrified and jumpy until I'm fully awake.
I packed a bit yesterday. My books are in about four boxes (I need more) and I put my cds in a box that I WILL NOT close until the day I move. I keep said box beside my bed. I also packed my movies... wow. I'm a dumbass. I packed my books, cds and movies. Why would I pack my favourite things first? I'm almost done Narcisuss in Chains, so I'm just going go have to dig through my books until I find another one to read. Maybe I'll just take it slow... HA! Like I can stop reading an Anita Blake book. Granted, if she has more detailed sex, I'll throw the book at the wall.
HOLY CRAP. Alice Cooper was just on a Staples ad. This kid was like, "I thought you said school was out forever?" to which he replied, "No, just for summer!" And then they shop for school supplies while the little girl pouts.
Good gods my nails are long. It's hard to type. I can't make a fist. What if I had to punch someone? I'd wreck my palm. Oh, no, I can kind of fold them into my hand. I could deck someone. Yey! They'll have to go once I get a guitar, though. Well, I could try to keep them, see how that goes. I could always file the points down so they'd just be long and rounded. Less dangerous that way, too.
Wow. I am SUCH a girl. Make it stop.
