Personally, when I made the transition from DVD/iTunes episodes to actually watching TV, the show felt a little less exciting, too. I hope it's all in my head and that Lost isn't actually getting worse. I don't know what I'd do without it.

I think the commercials make it harder to be actually immersed in the show because it takes you away from the moment. it kind of sucks.
