My attempts to do something different every weekend (that I've never done before) are going... well, I guess. I think I may have missed a week though..
The first weekend I got a professional massage. (one of the ones that really work into your muscles) Oh.. so much pleasure and pain all at once. I walked out of there with the BEST posture I've ever had.
The second week I attempted to get my license (forgot to take proof of address with me)... but in failing to do that, I planned to start buying things that I needed more than things that I wanted - and ended up getting a free washing machine from work. Yay! Even better.
The next week I again tried to get my license (found out you have to make a BOOKING for Saturdays) and bought my very first perfume, label shirt, and hot jeans. I've always wanted to buy some good quality hot jeans. Andy and I did a hardcore search through all the celebrities to choose who would smell the best based on their personality. He refused to let my try paris hilton being that "she would smell like a common whore". I ended up with Kylie's 'darling' cus she looked and smelt cutie. My label shirt was a fred perry. wee! I've been rambling about fred perry to andy for a while since I've seen more of it around, and it's pretty much the only label I've ever really cared for in the slightest.. so I got it.
This week I intend to get my ears pierced! WARGH. I'm so scared.. but I really want to do it. I also need to call the RTA tomorrow morning to MAKE an appointment for next Saturday.
Still on my list of things to do:
- Go to the Sydney library and spend a day finding books I'd like to read or just reading whatever is there at the time. Maybe even doing a bit of research on yield management for my work.
- Join a health fund
- Get my learners and sign up for lessons at least once or twice every pay.
- Get my nails done professionally for the first time evvaarr (I'll be doing that while my sister is down next month!)
- Have my blood tested for that thyroid thingy that I've been putting off for about 2 years.
- Book a holiday with Andy up the coast or to Melbourne.
- Go to see the dentist specialist about my wisdom teeth operation.
and more, which I'll need to write down later when Andy's not bugging me to leave for a movie!! We're going to watch the pursuit of happiness - I don't want to cry :'(
