[Action Post] Je čas na dovolenou.
[To say that Veronika had been living each day without an ounce of stress would be nothing more than a gigantic lie. And after having been plagued with dreams that somehow question her own mortality (to the paint that she was almost sure that she had dreamed, at least once, about almost dying. Or did she in fact die? She wasn't sure now. But in the end, none of that mattered.
It was summer now. And having not volunteered to teach summer courses at the university, the older woman found herself with much too free time on her hands.
Of course, she could have spent a majority of her time with Dewi, but even she was unable to stave off feelings of homesickness for too long.
Thus, with a scribbled note to Dewi, followed by an apologetic phone call at the airport promising that she'd make sure to keep in touch, Veronika soon found herself boarding a flight headed to Prague. Going home had been a hastily put together plan, but she had somehow managed to work things out well enough so that one of her cousins would be at the airport to pick her up and take her to her parents. She felt a bit guilty for all but sprinting out of the States and from Dewi, but it was something she needed.
Of course, she probably should have told people that she'd be gone for over a month, given that she'd already been for a week and a half.
But she'd get to that eventually.]
