Casshern - has never met anyone like Fuuma before. In a way, he is a lot like Akoes, the first person Casshern met who helped him through his... uh... depression. Akoes taught Casshern about humans, about standing up for himself and it was Akoes that Casshern was reluctant to part with, but only did so since Akoes himself requested it.

The thing with Casshern currently is that he's accepted that he's a sinner, he hurt the world and he's leaving it to the slow death because that's what truly makes people alive. But there's still some lingering pain over that decision. So sometimes, even when people try to say nice things about him or not blame him for it, he's not sure what to say because he firmly believes otherwise. Hence, moebot gets very confused, especially with Fuuma who treats him nicely and is teaching him little by little. Casshern meant what he said; that Fuuma is a warm person, but he doesn't understand his need to smile when things are sad at all.

Uh, tldr, Casshern thinks Fuuma is interesting and kind, even if he doesn't understand the kisses and if Fuuma was sad or unhappy, Casshern would totally hug him back and help him, even if he doesn't quite understand why Fuuma is the way he is.
