Exam time!!
Who all is prepared for this upcoming exam? Fortunately this unit I actually studied and know the majority of the material so I think I am better off than the other tests I had in this class. Not to say that I did horrible in the tests past but I think that it would behoove me more so especially for the final exam, to have studied. Also considering that this test is mainly over the civil war era and the fact that I had to do extensive research on the civil war for my project on Robert E. Lee. Researching Lee forced me into studying the civil war from a military perspective as well as a social one. Lee wasn’t only a military man during the war! This upcoming Thursday is going to be along day though! I have three exams in one day! My English/History, College Algebra, and Weight training are all in that time frame. However, I have no one to blame but myself for taking only Tue Thur. classes for a total of 13 credit hours! However, only having to go to school two days a week is beneficial to my crazy schedule and gives me more time to study and work. Could someone better explain to me the whole political aspect before the war though? I know the two primary parties were the Whigs and the democrats and neither of the parties would take a firm stance on slavery and so the conflicts escalated but I can’t recall any other specific information on the topic.
