Strange things happen...

Well, as I was coming back from talking to Daddy when I heard something weird coming from one of the rooms over there. Apparently, Snowcat was having sparklings. There were cute little things, in sort of a weird way. And I saw a lot of people that I didn't know.

*Auspex sighs, having now exited Snowcat and Demolishor's quarters. She'd have offered to help clean the mess, but didn't want to push Demolishor's temper.*

*She really should probably go to the Nexus to see where Blackstar has taken the zambonis... but there's someone here she hasn't met, and Nexus time tends to be variable, anyway. So she takes the time to speak to her* I'm sorry for that... hectic meeting. I am Auspex. Do you live here? *she pauses for a moment, a smile flickering briefly on her face* For that matter, where is here? I followed a portal here, but I don't know where I am...

This is the Decepticon's underwater base for this universe. I don't actually live here, though I was created in its equivalent in my universe. I'm supposed to be at the War Academy right now, but it's still under repairs. *eyes Auspex warily* You look like an Autobot.

*Auspex nods slowly, glancing around curiously* The Nemesis, then? *She blinks, looking back at Wingblade* I am not of a faction: I am a servant of Primus. My name is Auspex. I... actually only came here on Primus's direction, through one the portals in the Nexus: I didn't know why I was supposed to be here, at the time.

A priestess? *snorts* I would think a priestess would have wings, at least. My name's Wingblade. *grins wickedly and pulls one of the blades that form the leading edges of her wings* It's quite obvious why.

*Auspex shrugs* I almost did. My creators opted for something more practical for a non-combatant. I don't use my altmode very much, as it is.

*She glances at her wing, and back to the blade, wary, but not afraid, finding the concept rather clever* That is useful, carrying your weapons as part of yourself.

*puts it away, still grinning* Also means I can use 'em in both modes. And I have other weapons that I can use, too. Once Daddy and Fathy gave me these beautiful matching swords... *happysigh at the memory*

*She smiles indulgently at the young femme. She lacks experience, but has much enthusiasm. She finds her use of terms curious, however* You are using organic terms... *she begins to understand, when she remembers her comment about the little zambonis* You were a sparklet?

*nods* Yep. My parents are some of the Elite Fliers. I was sparked on Earth.

[primus_seeress]

I'm sure you were a... more conventional sparklet than the ones Blackstar escaped with. The Nexus produces very strange things such as that. Not that sparklets aren't rare on their own...

*she tilts her head curiously* You are not from this universe, and you do not live here... yet, you are here. What happened to your Academy?

I came over to visit this universe's version of Daddy. And the Autobots destroyed part of the Academy, so we're basically on leave until it gets rebuilt. But they're taking a looooooong time... Guess we weren't important enough to rate having the Constructicons doing the repairs.

Hmm.. *she nods* So are you training with someone else, or not at all? It doesn't sound as though the Decepticons are interested in having any new warriors, if they're taking so long... *she frowns slightly* I thought Decepticons were usually more proactive than that. *judging from her tone, she's mildly curious about the dynamics between the two factions in Wingblade's universe*

*shrugs* Most of the fighting is on Earth, and there haven't been any major losses there... No need to have many trained replacements that you don't need. And it's also supposed to give us more time to train, so we're better when we actually do get out there... Kinda hard to train when we don't have anyplace to train, though.

*Auspex 'hmm's thoughtfully* You would think they'd set up something temporary for their trainees... they must be very confident of their position, on Earth. Are your creators--er, parents--there, on Earth?

Yeah, they are. It's mostly supplies that travels back and forth between Cybertron and Earth right now. Energy supplies from Earth to Cybertron, and Cybertonium and the like back to Earth.
