I know I'm a couple years late, but man, Firefly is a fucking awesome show. Normally I can't much get into Joss Whedon's non-comic endeavors, but this show was just so so good. For those of you that've heard of it and thought, "meh, Star Trek ripoff", you are so wrong. Firefly feels more like a old-fashioned Western than anything else; there aren't any aliens, just humans solving their own problems in space with guns and duels and swordfights. 'Tis a horrible shame the show got cancelled; even with the excellent episodes that were shown, it had a disgustingly enomrous amount of potential if it were to continue. Extremely captivating series, and I wholeheartedly recommend the boxed set to all. Or, if you don't have the $$$ to buy it, just go download it using BitTorrent. See, it's so brilliant I'm telling y'all to do something illegal just to see it! After you're done seeing it, you can be excited for the movie coming out in September, or hopefully the next advance screening, if there is another one.
Anyway, I don't much remember what happened yesterday, but I know it involved shopping, smoking four bowls, chili cheese fries, pizza, and Spongebob.
