Real Post!

Hey all,

I know it's been awhile since I actually posted anything of value. I guess I've been bogged down in school and work and things. So...here's how things have been:

Vancouver: The last weekend in October, Huntting and I went to Vancouver for mostly free because he won an award from work. We ate some really really amazing Asian and Italian food. I will miss the Dim Sum at the Pink Pearl! Not a very impressive city on a cloudy day, but it's drop dead gorgeous on a sunny day! I'm not used to being surrounded by mountains so that was really cool. Also, we had a layover in Salt Lake City. Seems like a boring city, but the scenery is breathtaking! I can understand the appeal of that city at least somewhat just because of how beautiful the mountains are. The highlight of the trip for me was having my first official massage. It was quite nice, but I think I enjoyed the free shower and steam room afterwards the best. Can't beat jets of water coming at you from every angle!

Homework has been taking over my life since then. My weeks are usually very busy and stressful, and I wish I could have more time to chill and work out. Oh well. That's what I get for saving all my senior seminar stuff for the end. Gotta get my abstract in for SEPA this week as well. Tonight Huntting and I are going to one of his work dinners. Unfortunately, this means that I have to do my entire senior seminar presentation on Wednesday night. At least I get to eat yummy food for free!

I had to go back on Lexapro (20 mg this time) because my chronic pain came back. I've been on it for two weeks and already feel much better...though I am tired all the time, and a little zombie-ish...but that does seem to be getting better. I actually stayed up past 10 last night, and I didn't feel like I wanted to die! Been having other gyno issues too. Praying for good test results next week...wish me luck...

On Saturday, Huntting and I are roadtrippin' it to D.C. and NYC. I can't wait..I love long car rides! Plus NYC is my *favorite* city...and I get to see my grandparents...and Lisa...yayayay!! Will be doing much homework in the car though. I have to write two papers and a presentation by the 28th. Arg, the work never ends!
