So...wine tasting...yeah...
It was awesome until I got sick.
Yes, I puked all over myself from wine tasting. I puked on the bus. I puked in a paper bag, and then I puked in front of lots of strangers in broad daylight in a public trash can. What a way to make an impression. I feel like such an idiot. mmmmmm....the wine was good though. I got a bottle of Riesling from the first winery. I had to get it b/c it was a)$12 b)the most amazing Riesling I've ever had c) not available in America. I'm gonna save it for when Huntting comes. Still wondering if I should have gotten that Tawny or not...probably a good idea I didn't...I wouldn't have been able to walk w/ so much in my hands! Yeah...I made new friends or something on the trip...and then puked in front of them...and they still walked me home. Nice. I also sent Huntting a series of weird texts I think. And the Club leader dude has my cellphone. I want my phone!!! I'm so dependent on cellphones it's not even fucking funny. He just called me though, and I'm gonna get it tomorrow. Yay. I wonder if I'm now banned from Club X trips. I better not be. I paid $55 for the surfing trip on Saturday! I *won't* throw up though. I'll be good. I'm bummed my throwing up-ness is making me miss 1,2,3,4 night at the Sam Bar. Cheapest I would have been able to drink the whole time I'm here. But I think anymore alcohol in my system would be a bad idea. I still can't believe I puked from wine tasting...though...Australian wine has more alcohol in it. A bunch of them were %20. The first place was *so* generous. Glass after glass of whatever we wanted, no matter how expensive. Lunch after that sobered me up...but three other wineries in a row after that with no chance to sober up really did me in. Especially the one w/ all the liquour. mmm...butterscotch schnapps...the Aussie version of Bailey's (this one had coconut!)...white chocolate liquor...chile schnapps (just a *bit* spicy!). Yum. Wine tasting is great...just don't try *everything* or drink everyone's drinks around you. Or be on perscription meds that say not to drink.
