I speak three languages fluently and can read about five more languages. That's living in a small European country for ya. ;-)

The American Idol finale aired here tonight (I know! The channel that shows it is not one of the majors), and I spent an enjoyable two hours (well, an enjoyable hour and 50 minutes) by the telly making a necklace and just grooving along.
It was a great show, and I can't believe how many huge stars they had got to perform: Kiss, Queen, Keith Urban, Carlos Santana, and so many others!
Loved Allison with Cyndi Lauper - the instrument that Lauper played reminded me of an instrument that's considered
a national treasure here. Allison has such a strong voice, and she has oodles of potential. Hope she gets a record deal.
Okay, this Fergie chick...everyone talks about her, and I have no clue who she is. All I know is "Prince Andrew's ex-wife" Fergie (Sarah Ferguson). Anyway, I had to Google this American Fergie and wowza! She is 34???? No way! She looks like a 50-year-old who's had a couple too many facelifts. And what was that thing called Black-Eyed Peas? Fergie had a good voice, but the rest of them...uh-uh...where was the music? Nnnnnot my cuppa tea.
LOVED Kris Allen and Keith Urban. They have very similar voices and both have this lovely "twang" in their voice. Great song.
Okay, I'm going to be murdered for this, but Rod Stewart, WTF? Dude has a unique voice but dude can't sing. The same goes for Kiss...now, I LOVED that performance, but only because of Adam. But those Kiss dudes, all they do is screech into the microphone and show off their (extremely long) tongues. Yeah, my boy Adam knows how to scream, too, but he pwns these things called tune, resonance, and range. Anyway, Adam ROCKED those metal wings and those funky boots! Boy will go far!
Ohh, and I loved those Golden Idol prizes they gave away. Was a bit uncomfy about those excruciating auditions they showed, but I suppose they asked for permission from those people. That Tatiana sure is a Personality. ;-D
Bikini Girl and Kara DioGuardi...hmm...must we always objectify women? However, I have no objections whatsoever to objectifying Adam. ;-)
Oh, and Adam and Kris and QUEEN. That was legendary. Loved the boys' camaraderie in this song, although poor Kris's voice tended to be overpowered muchos by my boy's voice. But bromance at its best right there.
And the last ten minutes? Didn't watch. :-)
