I've made a wonderful discovery, and in a nearby apartment store of all places. The Buccaneers is finally on region 2 DVD! I've been hunting for it for a long time, and now I found it for under 10 euros. :-O I highly recommend it; it's based on a novel by Edith Wharton and tells the story of four young wealthy American women who come to England to marry "well" in the 1870s. British noblemen (and being married to them) are not quite what they had thought. This is by no means a sugary drama and has some pretty sobering stuff in it.
Moving on, just saw the new HBP TV spot in several HP comms. Heh, it definitely has the romantic comedy thing going on, but judging by some of the other trailers, the film still has a lot of darkness, too. So, pretty much like the book on that account. And of course, as all R/Hr shippers, I'm squeeing so hard over "I HAPPEN TO BE HIS... FRIEND."
Still going strong with my Sims...I got the Seasons EP yesterday and have enjoyed playing through the different seasons. Well, almost all of them...my legacy house is on the biggest lot and it's a four-storey house with a huge garden and usually a minimum of four people in the house, so the thick snow in winter makes it lag. So, whenever I play my main legacy family, I play without winter. In game news, my third generation heir, the cute blond-haired and brown-eyed Xavier, just got engaged to the lovely red-haired Renata, who has a pig's nose and glasses, and I can't wait to see what their kids look like! :-D
