Fandom Alive!
Heee, lots of fandom stuff lately! First we get the amazing new character promos from WB, which totally and completely rock. Okay, Hermione again looks very un-Hermioneish and photoshopped, but the males are great. My favorites are Ron, Draco and Snape. The Ron pic (which shows a decisive Ron in Quidditch gear) has already been oohed to death, so I won't post it. However, I think the Draco pic deserves at least as much praise:
Now THIS is how Draco is supposed to be. Not a sexy, suave, witty, leather-clad seducer, but a brooding, spoiled kid who's a living conflict. Me likes!
And of course...SNAPE! Finally, a new promo pic, and a great one at that. This is the Snape you wouldn't want to meet in a dark corridor. I mean, some people might not...cos I sure would...*cough* ;-)
It's such a shame that Rickman is so much older than canon!Snape. I don't know why it bothers me so much; I guess I just want my thirtysomething, lean, quick, bat!Snape. ;-) Anyway, I can't wait to see HBP!
And on top of these pics, we get the news that Ciarán Hinds and Rhys Ifans both have been cast for DH! Both are amazing actors, and I'm so glad they'll get to be a part of HP. Though Ifans is to play Luna's dad, and I'm not sure he fits my mental image of Xenophilius, but I know he's good enough to make movie!Xenophilius great. :-)
