I'm incurable. Honestly. Well, at least what comes to technology and gadgets - I love gadgets. I have a perfectly fine and dandy iPhone, and now I'm hankering after a Blackberry Bold. *headdesk* It's just that the BB has so many tiny buttons and other delicious thingamajigs...and Jared Leto has one. :-D In fact, he's a Blackberry devotee, which I happen to think is incredibly sexy.
Seriously, I should have my head checked. They don't even sell Blackberries here because this is the country of Nokia.
Insanities aside, I finally posted the last chapter of Moments of Love on harrypotterfanfiction.com. *sniff* Now it's really over. Must go find some R/Hr artsies to help me cope...
And back to insanities...I'm still strangely fascinated by the Twilight phenomenon, which has now exploded even here in the far North. I know, I'm not a fan, but the phenomenon honestly interests me. Plus I really like RPattz, so I am looking forward to seeing the movie. I've watched countless videos on Youtube during my illness (yeah, it was bronchitis), and scratched my head. What is it about Twilight that makes it so popular? I'm honestly curious, and I would love to be a fan. I've read some fan forums, and most cite things like "hypnotic writing" and "Edward and Bella's intoxicating love". With that in mind, I started re-reading Twilight just to see if I could get into it now. But I can't. I can't see the hypnotic writing from the groans of my inner editor, and I can't see much subtlety in B/E's glare-ful relations.
Here is an article that aptly expresses some of my opinions (Twifans - do not read). But I remain deeply fascinated by Twilight as a phenomenon, and I do follow the movie hype. Maybe one day I'll crack the secret. :-)
