First an itsy bitsy meme for which I was tagged by

1. Post these rules.
2. Each tagged person must post 8 things about themselves on their journal.
3. At the end, you have to choose and tag 8 people.
1. I get obsessed easily (no, really?;-).
2. I love candles.

4. I consider myself bilingual.
5. I have a pretty girly voice.
6. I code all my LJ entries manually in HTML because LJ's Rich Text didn't function in Opera for the longest time, and now that it does, it's pretty clunky.
7. I love cool weather and hate hot weather.
8. I always go to bed early; I just get too tired to stay up late.

I also watched the new
Sense & Sensibility.
Well, I can't stand Colonel Brandon in it. I get pedo vibes, and I hate that - I never get those with Alan Rickman's Colonel or Kate Winslet's Marianne, but here I do and I can't help it. I just find the actor who plays Colonel Brandon quite unattractive and unpleasant. I know Brandon is no hunk in the book, but he has intellectual appeal and a sort of delicacy in his character, and to me this actor lacks those. So, that's pretty much all I can think of when I watch this production. I also find it lacking in passion and characterisation - the 1995 version had a wonderful characterisations and you see the quirks and individual traits of the characters right away. I'm now at where Marianne, Elinor, and Lucy Steele are heading to London, and I'm yet to see real passion in Marianne; she just smiles prettily. Sigh, maybe the 1995 version just ruined it for me; nobody can ever be a better Colonel Brandon than Alan or a better Marianne than Kate. I do like Edward and Elinor, though, maybe even more than in the 1995 version.
All in all, an okay production, but what I've seen so far lacks the spark that would make me return to it again and again like to the 1995 version.

I have a new wallpaper for my 'puter, too.
Come on, did you really think it would be pretty flowers when MTV3 put out these lovely wallpapers of the semifinalists after a styling session? ;-D
First semifinal is tomorrow, and it's boys' turn first, so one boy will be eliminated by popular vote...*shivers*...must load the battery of my phone well. ;-) W has chosen Talisman's Frozen as his first song. Great choice!
Here's a pic of all the semi-finalists:
