Okay, so it's all op dvd now, and it's XMEN: THE ANIMATED SERIES. And Rogue/Gambit was my first 'ship. And Jean/Scott was my second. So yeah. I have no shame. Long live the X-Men!

Rogue/Gambit = OTP 4-EVER + EVER + EVER. And I always loved Jean/Scott in spite of themselves. (wonder if my bro's in the mood for X-men Evolution, he hasn't seen it yet and I've been wanting to rewatch it...)

YES! Gambit and Rogue -- it's like WHAT'S NOT TO LIKE! And yes, Jean/Scott are a pairing that almost is like "whyyy????" and then they're like the mom and dad of the team but they can be interesting! They can! XDDD (Oh! Evolution! Okay, so in the comics I ship Kitty/Pete Wisdom, but there's something about Lance/Kitty that is so irresistibly cute! Altho my one complaint with Evolution is the weird crush Rogue has on Scott. It's so out of left field!)

Jean/Scott are so ridiculous and dumb that I always got the feeling that you're not even supposed to like them...but then, look at them, they're so stupid for each other! Though I gotta admit, I never really liked Scott until X-men Evolution. All his stick-up-the-ass annoying bossiness is so much more sympathetic when he's a 17 year old trying really really hard to be the responsible one.
Haven't really read the comics (keep meaning to, I got scanlations of most of it, but - there's sooo much!) but oh! Lance/Kitty was killer cute. ...actually Kevin/Gwen has shades of Lance/Kitty, now that I think about it. What can I say, I'm pathetically weak to bad boy/good girl ^^;;;;)

Yeah, Kitty/Pete Wisdom was over like 10 years ago D: and then they de-aged her back to 16 so the whole Kitty/Pete romance was pretty "ick" but yeah while it was on it was great! But yes, Kitty/Lance and Gwen/Kevin is v. similar (even down to the mullets!) I kinda want them to double date now (you know Gwen and Kitty would meet at some insane overachievers thing like youth gov't and then they would become BFFs and decide their boyfriends would REALLY GET ALONG and Kevin and Lance would...in spite of themselves XDDD)

Oh man, yes! --those were I think the first eps I saw - I kept watching because of the Magneto & Xavier trapped together stuff, because arch nemeses forced to ally has been one of my biggest fiction kinks since I was a wee thing. But I think the Gambit/Rogue won me over quick.

And the double dating, oh YES...Gwen and Kitty would totally hit it off, and Lance & Kevin would bond over having earth-type powers and admiring Kevin's ride and Kevin could maybe give Lance advice on being a hero (likely bad advice, as Kevin is one of the worst superheroes ever...). And then they would get in trouble doing some extemporaneous crime-fighting/butt-kicking, and the girls would have to come save them...

Yes. EXACTLY. Sometimes you embrace the crack, and sometimes the crack makes you hide under the bed and whimper like a mad whimpering thing!
Lance & Kevin would bond over having earth-type powers and admiring Kevin's ride I'm thinking Kevin might even sell (at a fair price, NOT) some alien-tech so Lance can fix up that jeep of his (random aside: did the Evo kids ever meet up with the Sh'iaar? Because that would actually make a pretty sweet crossover -- what with the Shi'aar just happening to run into the Ben 10 kids XDDDDD). And YES of COURSE the girls would have to save them. And then tell them what idiots they are (punctuated with a kiss on the cheek! XDDD)
