Aye...So, we have spent the past 2 and a half hours in court. The woman who stole my credit card had her trial today. The DA gave us two options: either we could get our money back very quickly or we could send her to criminal court and get the money later. Basically, the representative from the bank said that we take option one or we don't get our money back. So, Karran got off with 10 days in jail (which had already been served) and $100/month in restitution, court costs, and fees. We get the rest of our money in one bulk payment from the bank and the bank gets the $100 each month.
I wanted it to go to criminal court. She would've had about 10 felonies. Oh well, maybe she'll do something stupid again and won't get off so easily.
At least for Brendon and me it's all over.
I've been invited to a "girl's night out" thing at Ashley's house tonight. There will be several people there who I haven't seen since high school. It should be fun!
