2007 Southerners:
Higher Faster Louder!
Continuing the momentum of the 2006 50th Anniversary celebration, the Jacksonville State University Marching Southerners will once again astound audiences with their electrifying 2007 Production, Higher Faster Louder!

In this fast paced celebration of sound, the Marching Southerners will bring a fresh new approach to a Spanish/Latin favorite, A Mis Abuelos ...one that is sure to be a crowd favorite.

Next, the crowd will begin to "Sway" as the Marching Ballerinas mesmerize the audience to a fantastic rendition of music recently made famous by Michael Buble'.

In memory of Dr. Jerryl Davis, one of our #1 supporters and former arranger, The Southerners will bring Ennio Morricone’s Gabriels's Oboe, a stunning masterpiece, to the marching field. Prepare for a beautiful moment as the field is transformed to an ocean of color as the JSU Color Guard and Marching Ballerinas bring to life this wonderful tribute to one of our former faculty members.

The Marching Southerners will close their 2007 production with a fiery version of El Toro Caliente, a hot Latin Jazz chart that is sure to peel the paint off the walls and leave the crowd on their feet wanting more. Be sure to watch for a percussion feature to top all percussion features….with a special twist that will bring the house down!

This show will be a Southerners’ dream come true!

This is going to be a badass show.
