[Today, Akihiko is out by the lake. He's balling up snowballs and throwing them out over the frozen surface, trying to get them to skip across the ice. He'd probably have an easier time with rocks (and, perhaps, with a thawed body of water), but there's something to be said about throwing snow. He throws a ball and it gives a very slight bounce before splatting against the ice, just enough to work him up.]

Huh... Almost worked that time.

[He chucks another in the same fashion, hoping for similar results.]
