Well, I had a great birthday weekend!
My parents got here on Thursday night and it was so nice seeing them again! I miss them a lot.
Friday it was raining most of the day because of Tropical Storm Ernesto so we went to the mall and had fun looking in nice stores and having coffee. We went to Maccaroni Grill for lunch which was warm and yummy. Friday night Richard grilled steaks and pork chops and veggies for us. Dinner was really good.
Saturday we went out for breakfast and then up to Hunt Valley towne center which was a lot of fun. I love going to Wegmans's and my parents had fun looking in the Plow and Hearth store, Coldwater Creek and my mom and I had fun in Ulta which is a cosmetics/beauty store. We each got some pretty nail polishes.
Saturday evening we went to G&M where we all had crab cake platters for dinner. It was good and we enjoyed ourselves there.
Sunday was my birthday and the weather was pretty darn nice. we had time to sit outside on the porch and relax. I opened my presents and I got an electric guitar from my husband and a nice red leather carrying case for my work lap top.
My parents got me some nice sewing kits, one of them is an advent calendar that I can't wait to work on, but I need to finish the projects I'm making for my sister's baby shower.
Yesterday I just sat around the house and read all day. I did nothing constructive which was nice for a change.
