Weird.

So I brought in some blueberry muffins (the ones that turned lavender because I didn't coat the blueberries in flour first) for my co-workers and a co-worker just came up to me complaining of the weird texture around the muffin 'stump', how it was kind of fiberous and weird. I was of course conserned because I couldn't think what would result in that sort of texture, I'd been eating them all week with no such occurrance, then he looked down at my muffin, which was half eaten and sitting on the paper wrapper I baked them in, he then said "What's that under your muffin?", I looked at the offending paper wraper "The muffin tin liner?". Then we both looked at each other and I said "You didn't, you didn't take it out of the wrapper?" he exclaimed "I didn't know it was IN a wrapper!" I said "The wrappers are PATTERENED they have like PURPLE AND GOLD STRIPES ON THEM!" he said, lamely, "I thought that's what you meant when you said the muffins were a funny colour".
