Novillero- Camaraderie or Bust I've been awake for far too long this morning. I'm going to visit my friends and their new baby later today, so I've (finally) seamed up the baby jackets knit for them, and I need to run out later to buy some red buttons for the one Jets jersey inspired jacket (her dad is a Senators fan, and I can't let that happen to her. I kid! I kid!)
Other things I'm working on are holiday gifts- up until last week I wasn't making anything for anybody, and now my brain wants me to make things for everybody. Now that isn't happening, but a few small projects are getting done. And, strangely, a lot of felting. I made myself a pair of felted bunny slippers, and there's the one gift, and then an upcoming cat bed.
Yesterday I settled in with a bunch of podcasts and did so much finishing work on a bunch of different projects- that's really one of my big problems with knitting- I love working on projects, but then don't finish them off so I have a bunch of things sitting around without the ends woven in or buttons missing. I still have two awesome cardigans waiting for a zippers and that cabled jacket that actually needs the button band redone- it's been finished for over two years now, but I can't wear it the way it is.
I also need to start preparing for two new classes I'm teaching in the new year, one for intermediate knitters, and another for people wanting to start knitting sweaters. What.
