I had a brilliant idea this morning: I was going to go to the Leo Mol sculpture garden afer taking mom to work, and take pictures of some of my knit projects on different statues. Brilliant- I don't have to be in them, I get them in good light, and they're finally done.

Except I get there and it's overcast, icy and so very, very cold. It sort of brought home the fact that I've spent hardly any time at all outside this winter- about 15 minutes of colder than minus 20 Celsius while sliding around trying to take pictures? Lol, no. I got one picture (and it's kind of crappy because of the grey-dawn) and I was done. Ran (well, shuffled) off to Starbucks to get a drink to warm up, and back home.

Normally, I love winter. I complain, sure, but normally I'm doing something. This winter I've just taken to hibernating and waiting for the thaw.
