(no subject)
*sigh* I hate having to rip out a sock when everything except the sizing is working so well. Oooh, these are a gorgeous example of the Marlene socks and makes me want to try it in a solid colour. But yeah, the gauge is awesome and the colours aren't pooling oddly and I have the lace pattern practically memorized.
I tried it on when it was only the ribbing on the cuff and I could get it on and over my heel. Now that it's 1.5 pattern repeats in and increased by 4 stitches, it won't go over my heel. At all. I tried tugging it and I could tell the yarn was not happy and would not magically stretch to fit... I need to frog it, and add about 12 stitches. I think I've got it figured out, and it should be easy enough to modify, but still.

(It doesn't help at all that I'm completely exhausted. How am I this tired? Am I running marathons in my sleep, or what? And if I am, why aren't I more fit?)
