Drama!
Backstory:
My daughter and her husband, James, are going through a particularly nasty breakup. He grabbed the youngest girl without her mother's permission and left the state with her. We found him and the child. He is allowing his mother, Sanday, to babysit the little girl. His mother is on State and Federal assistance for mental issues. She lives in subsidized housing and is barely able to care for herself, let alone a child.
Angel is one of the other caregivers where I work. She is very good friends with both my daughter's husband and his mother.
So... here is what happened:
Angel called me to tell me I would have to work at Dethman Manor, where James' mother lives. She mentioned that it was the same place where Sandy lived. I was stupid and mentioned the fact that if I say my granddaughter, I was going to pick her up and take her home to her Mama, where she belongs. Angel called my manager and told her that I threatened to commit a felony if I get sent there.
Trina called me and told me that she wasn't sending me to Dethman Manor and basically chewed me out. (First of all, rescuing a kidnapped child and bringing her home to her mother is NOT a felony. In fact, it isn't even against the law!) I believe Trina is going to fire me for this incident.
I also believe Angel and James got together to set me up.
If I had gone there, they could set up a scenario with Sandy, which would get me fired.
By not going there, I have a scenario where it's my word against Angel's on what actually was said. And, my manager is believing Angel's version of the "truth".
So, either way, I'm screwed.
And, my client is the one that is going to suffer for it.
