Shutting down the Agamemnon.

For as much as I bitch about it, Windows 7 has matured nicely. This will be the last I use XP on my home computer, I think. Tomorrow it's getting nuked and Win 7 Enterprise is getting installed.

Random side note. My friends may or may not be aware that my desktop Windows machine is basically my bitch machine. It's meant for gaming and web surfing. Firewalls, anti-virus, ant-malware programs get in the fucking way. So I don't run them. At all.

What I do, however, is run a small battery of AV and anti-malware programs at the end of an installs tour of duty. This particular install has been running for a good year and a half to two years. Not a spec. So I'll say what you're all thinking...

I must frequent some of the cleanest p0rn sites on the Internet. :)

Tomorrow I install a watercooler (I have no idea why. Maybe just for grins? Maybe I'll overclock? Who knows.), re-OS the machine (Maybe I'll get WoW running in Wine under Ubuntu and just say fuck Windows all together? It's a nice thought.) and as always, there will be more ESXi goodness.

We'll be tackling vCenter, clustered ESXi hosts, shared storage (probably some FreeNAS love), vMotion and ESXi High Availability. Agamemnon will serve as an ESXi boxen before Windows gets on it. Need moar 64bit capable computers around me.
