There are few things that please me so much in life as producing smoke with my handsaw. Yes, boys and girls, I saw so quickly that the friction actually raises the temperature of the wood, however briefly, to over four-hundred degrees Fahrenheit.
This helps me know that if I ever have to produce fire with nothing more than a few pieces of wood and some string, I could very possibly do it.
